Rodrigo Dorfman, Director Born in Santiago, Chile in 1967, Rodrigo Dorfman is a freelance photographer, writer, video artist, theatre director and multimedia journalist who currently resides in Durham, North Carolina. His work mixes the immediacy of journalism and performance art with in-depth ethnographic fieldwork and Flash technology to create multimedia documentary environments. As a playwright, Dorfman¹s Who¹s Who and Mascara, co-written with his father, have been performed in Germany and Japan. As a screenwriter, he won, with his father, the 1996 Writer¹s Guild of Great Britain Award for best TV screenplay for Prisoners in Time starring John Hurt. He has worked with teens in Durham on multimedia storytelling projects and is a contributor to Andre Codrescu¹s Exquisite Corpse. |

Peter Raymont, Producer Filmmaker, journalist and writer Peter Raymont has produced and directed over 100 documentary films and series during a 35-year career. His films have taken him to Ethiopia, Nicaragua, India, Rwanda, the High Arctic and throughout North America and Europe. A founding member and past-president of the Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC), Raymont has received 35 international awards including the Canadian Genie, four Gemini Awards, several Gold and Silver Hugos and The Sesterce d¹Argent. His documentary feature Shake Hands with the Devil: The Journey of Roméo Dallaire won the Audience Award for World Cinema Documentaries at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival and Best Feature Documentary and Best Canadian Television Program at the Banff International Television Festival, among others.
