Montana Department of Livestock
In 1995, the Montana DOL was statutorily requested to serve as the lead agency to manage the bison/brucellosis disease issue for Montana, with Yellowstone National Park bison being described as a species in need of disease control. Part of the DOL's mission is to protect animals from disease and to prevent the transmission of disease to other animals and humans.

Seventh Generation Fund
Founded in 1977, the Seventh Generation Fund is the only Native American intermediary foundation and advocacy organization dedicated to promoting and maintaining the uniqueness of Native peoples and their nations. SGF provides advocacy, small grants, financial management services, nonprofit administration, leadership training, and technical support for numerous innovative Native community projects.
