# 1 Beloved Relatives,
This happened to come up because a young woman had a healing by spirit with White Buffalo Calf Woman, and now I am here responding to all.

2009 nine years since this post (opened), but still it found me to let all know that it\'s time to roost (four sacred directions). the day of dawning has come this far and we are entering all of evolutions call. look back and look forward to follow your dreams, for White Buffalo Calf Woman is here if you please.

Down time up time and all is going to be, the heart of divinity, if all learn about it please. Take your pipes out and ceremonies, don't throw it to the wind, for it's all that will save you, when the red sky comes home.

#2 You will need more love than money, to get through this again. You will need relatives with true hearts to begin the new den. And we will need each other if we don't learn to fly in the wind, for Great Spirits are coming home to us again.

The day of dawning is coming to us all, and they have sent me to you, to remember to call. Like the rainbow of colors that live inside of you, come home for blessings to learn all of your cues. It won't be easy, and it won\'t be cute, it will be more like a cleansing that will hurt, this is truth, but if we forgive and we lean towards the relatives who stay, then we will learn sacredness, the right and devoted way.

#3 Now it's time to see whispers that fly in the wind, and it's time to be soldiers who bring providence home again. And we can be the Great Legions who come to rescue the land, when we turn to sacredness and gift all we have.

I came across this web site by accident. I had recently read a book about an Indian woman and I felt drawn to the spirituality and ways of the Indian. In our European culture we have few to teach us about our connceiton to the natural world. Many of us have lost our sense of direction and don't know where we have come from and so we look for parents in religion and other cultures in hope of understanding who we are and how to live a better life. I have learned much from these pages. I feel sad that the US government allows the beautiful Lakota people, who have much to teach the world, to suffer poverty. This should not be. The Indian people are rich in knowledge and wealthy in experience - of the ways of the gods and the many voices of nature. They know what these voices mean and the world waits for them to tell us of Mother Earths secrets.

Hi Not long ago I watched the movie into the west.It broke my heart to see the horrible injustices that were done to the Native Americans,What really hit me hard was when the children were taken away from their families and put into boarding schools. I really respect the way your people believe in not ruining the earth, like the white man has done. I have a very good friend who is Lakota and she just moved back to South Dakota. I miss her,but still keep in touch with her. By the way I am on of Jehovah's Witnesses and from what I read in the Bible is that our God Jehovah is going to step in real soon and turn the earth back into a paradise and cleanse the earth of all the wicked people and those that are ruining the earth. Once again I am so sorry for all the terrible things that were done.

Hi.
I was looking at the frybread recipe. We are Oglala Lakota, and my mom used yeast, too, but she rolled it out and cut it in geometric shapes like triangles. I live in Seattle, and the people out here pat theirs into discs like the one shown above. Does anyone else but my family roll it out and cut it before frying? I never knew there was another way.

Hi,

I have been studying and watching as much as I can about the Lakota people. I am facinated and awed by the strength and character and wisdom of the Lakota poeple and the Elders. I am also greatly saddened by the tragic circumstances of U.S.A history. Thankyou for your site and the many others I have read. It is not only educating my mind, its educating my heart.

O SON OF MAN! Thou art My dominion and My dominion perisheth not, wherefore fearest thou thy perishing? Thou art My light and My light shall never be extinguished, why dost thou dread extinction? Thou art My glory and My glory fadeth not; thou art My robe and My robe shall never be outworn. Abide then in thy love for Me, that thou mayest find Me in the realm of glory. -From the writings of Baha'u'llah.

Having grown up, watching my Grandfather live on a reservation, I am all too familiar with how bad it can be. The problem is several fold, and requires actions from both the Government, and the People. We, as a People, need to try and overcome the adversities that we face. We are too strong, and too proud, a People to surrender to our circumstances. And, we must raise enough of a storm, with the Government, to make them sit up, take notice, and change the laws and the way that they treat us. I only pray that we do something before our traditions, and stories, are overwritten by how things are now, and that becomes our history and future.

I am from the Cheyenne River Reservation. Although we do not have as many problems as the Oglala our prayers and thoughts are always with them. They are our brothers and sisters. Lakota Oyate.

Russell Means is my blood and I thank you for reading his book, BURY MY HEART AT WOUNDED KNEE...listen to his words and his wisdom...

I am originally from eastern South Dakota. When I was young we took many trips to the Black Hills. I remember various times driving through the Pine Ridge Reservation. I remember asking my mother with tears streaming down my face WHY???? It saddens my heart what has happened to these strong beautiful people. I talk to my son and I try to make him understand. I tell him that it is very important to know the history. I am currently reading Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee and my son and I watched the movie together today. I strongly recommend both. Before you can truly understand what is happening with the people of today you have to have an understanding of what has happened to them in the past.

I am learning about Native Americans and i think that the U.S. government just wants to forget that there are Native Americans here and does not want to help them. I am surprised that they say that there are no homeless people in the United States when there clearly is. I just want to say that \"Dont give up keep trying to live a better life\".
