As an interested party in preserving sacred places, we have a sacred place in St. Ignace, MI. I believe that the film, In the Light of Reverence should seriously be considered for airing on the Public Broadcast station out of Mt. Pleasant which covers northern Michigan. We have Anishanabe, "the first people" here in northern Michigan and with respect to native american tradition and culture -- our lands and the preservation of sacred lands are threatened. I believe this film is a wake up call for all. Not just for native americans but for all people. One day we will not have the freedom to walk the land -- due to private property constraints. The land of Rabbits Back Peak is sacred to the Anishanabe and must be preserved for all generations and for all mankind to respect and appreciate. Please consider airing "In the Light of Reverence" on the local PBS stations located in Northern Michigan. Thank you, Anne Belanger
