It was with great pleasure to have watched this show. With more migration from Hawaii to mainland: we as transplanted Hawaiians, need to remember and retain our culture and heritage as the islands become smaller and so much diluted. I now have places to go and watch and participate in these events and to meet other brothers and sisters from home. Thank you for helping us to keep it together.

I am interested in this program as a displaced Native Polynesian living in the white man's land, married to the white man's man and raising little white babies. How does one still maintain a tradition such as hula when everyone around you is white and does not understand? I applaude ITVS for their support of such an important program and I look forward to American Aloha (Who comes up with these titles??!) to teach my children about their other cultures that make up who they are.
