Digital Marketing Coordinator

Oversee content publishing across ITVS websites and third-party platforms; work with digital content producers to enhance web presence.

JOB SUMMARY:

ITVS seeks a digital marketing coordinator to ensure a cohesive, seamless digital marketing funnel. This key role is for a professional fluent in a wide variety of marketing channels, from search to social, and the platform curation, maintenance, and logistics necessary to convert audience awareness into action.

The digital marketing coordinator works in close collaboration with digital content producers, marketers, social media managers, web developers and systems engineers, visual designers, motion graphics artists and video editors, to support all ITVS brands, both business and consumer, including the Emmy® Award-winning series Independent Lens on PBS. Candidates should possess a strong attention to detail, demonstrated proficiency with digital platforms, and the ability to stay on top of industry trends and adapt to the fast-paced, ever-changing media space.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee content publishing across ITVS websites, including third-party and partner platforms (PBS Video, YouTube, and more)
  • Collaborate with digital content producers to enhance web pages with strong visuals and, where appropriate, rich media
  • Curate website landing pages to reflect editorial priorities and funnel traffic to strategic conversion points
  • Recommend website improvements, features, and UX revisions to preserve best-in-class mobile-friendly experience
  • Monitor website technical health for maintenance needs and liaise with support vendors to troubleshoot issues and conduct new development
  • Ensure page copy, headlines, and meta descriptions balance audience interest and readability with SEO best practices
  • Plan and optimize Google Ads campaigns
  • Develop email lead generation strategies and tactics
  • Assemble, schedule, and track newsletter blasts
  • Maintain clean newsletter contact lists that comply with data privacy standards
  • Support social media preparation, scheduling, curation, asd campaign creation, and community management on as-needed basis
  • Collect, measure, and report metrics across digital platforms to optimize tactics and inform strategy
  • Prepare presentations, reports, meeting agendas, and record minutes
  • Track budget expenditures and process invoices

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in digital marketing and communications in one of the following areas: broadcast or cable network, public media, entertainment, marketing, advertising agency, or brand management
  • Proficient understanding of digital marketing concepts, and the best practices necessary to achieve valuable integration between web/search, email, and social media
  • Experience with WordPress, Google Ads, Mailchimp, Sprout Social, SimplyMeasured, Google Analytics, and/or equivalent platform management systems, including native social media platform tools (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Basic understanding of HTML; CSS knowledge a plus
  • Salesforce / CRM experience a plus
  • Confident with data analysis and insights, with a strong appetite to develop analysis skills and knowledge
  • Project management skills with experience in productivity software and media management best practices
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
