ITVS Statement of Solidarity with Asian American and Pacific Islander Communities
ITVS stands in solidarity with Asian communities, as well as Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, as they endure a surge of racist discrimination and hate crimes across the world.
Our board and staff will continue to support the brave work of independent documentary filmmakers with lived experience in these communities. Alongside our partners at the Center for Asian American Media (CAAM) and Pacific Islanders in Communications (PIC), we will lift their stories to help create a more just future.
We’re calling on our colleagues across public media to join us in condemning racism and hate and using all of our collective resources to elevate the truth and expose disinformation.
