The award-winning documentary The English Surgeon by Geoffrey Smith airs Sunday, September 16 on Global Voices on the WORLD Channel.
What is it like to have power over life and death, and yet to struggle with your own humanity? The English Surgeon tells the story of acclaimed British neurosurgeon Henry Marsh who confronts the dilemmas of the doctor-patient relationship on his latest mission to Ukraine. The English Surgeon will air as part of the Global Voices series on the WORLD Channel, Sunday, September 16 at 10 p.m. (check local listings). Starting September 17, the documentary will be available to view in entirety online via PBS Video (for a limited time only).
