While gathering an MFA in fiction writing and a PhD in English from Yale, the busy actor-director James Franco has been producing a documentary about San Francisco’s fetish porn industry. Kink premieres at Sundance Jan. 19. Contrary to what you might believe, social media and viral marketing are saving the film industry, according to Mashable.
