In 2013, she was one of the producers on National Geographic’s highest-rated television series, and in 2011 her work at MediaStorm was nominated for the World Press Photo, Anthropographia, and Webby awards in the multimedia and documentary categories. She has field-produced stories from across the U.S., Central America, the Middle East, Afghanistan, and Papua New Guinea. Redfearn is the recipient of a Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting Fellowship, and National Endowment for the Arts, Jerome Foundation, Chicken and Egg Pictures, and the NYSCA individual artist grants.
