Benoit Gryspeerdt was the production manager and line producer for Dominant 7, a leading documentary production company in France. He spent three years at the company, where he was involved in all stages of production on more than a dozen documentaries. Prior to joining Dominant 7, he gained production and financial experience at TF1, France’s leading television network, and at MK2, a premier independent producer, distributor and theater exhibitor in France. Recently Gryspeerdt joined the management team at Ardèche Images, which manages the Etats Généraux du Film Documentaire, one of the leading documentary film festivals in France. He and Anne Aghion are the principals of Dry Valleys Productions.
Anne Aghion

Producer/Director

Anne Aghion is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker living between New York and Paris. In 2005, she was awarded a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship to enable her to pursue her independent filmmaking goals. Her most recent films, In Rwanda We Say ... The Family That Does Not Speak Dies (winner of a 2005 Emmy Award); and Gacaca, Living Together Again in Rwanda?; have earned accolades around the world. Her first film, Se Le Movio El Piso (The Earth Moved Under Him) — A Portrait of Managua, won the Havana Film Festival’s 1996 Coral Award for Best Non-Latin American Documentary on Latin America. Aghion holds a degree in Arab language and literature from Barnard College at Columbia University in New York.
