In the small island town of Sitka, Alaska, "no loitering" signs adorn most shop windows, and local teenagers know the signs are meant for them. High pregnancy, high school drop-out, substance abuse, and domestic violence rates reflect a generation of teens who feel alienated and isolated. Alaskan Native (Tlingit), Filipino, Latino, Pacific Islander, and Caucasian youth reflect on the possibilities of finding a place in society.
