Ran Tal
Director
Director Ran Tal was born in 1963 in Israel to a farmer’s family and grew up on Kibbutz Beit Hashita. After finishing his military duty, he studied cinema and television at Tel Aviv University. Tal was creative director at several TV stations and since the mid-90s has been an independent documentary filmmaker whose work deals with the essence of Israeli politics through social and historical phenomenon. He also teaches at various film schools in Israel.
