Corey Ford, a former FRONTLINE documentarian, has been named director of the Public Media Accelerator, an incubator funded by the Knight Foundation to drive innovation in journalism. “We know [Socrates] was born in 469 BC and married to a famously shrewish woman called Xanthippe. The Los Angeles Times published a video profile of a clockmaker this week. Shot beautifully in digital video, the profile offers an homage to an analog craft.
