Lisa Tawil Joins the International Board of INPUT

ITVS is excited to announce that Lisa Tawil, our vice president of Marketing and Communications, has joined the International Board of INPUT. Founded in 1977, INPUT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening worldwide collaboration of public media makers and programmers. INPUT hosts an annual conference that screens and discusses stories created worldwide in the public interest. She began serving in this position on May 17, 2023.

“INPUT is an extraordinary organization that crosses borders to better understand the human condition,” said Tawil. “Now more than ever, we need to strengthen the public square and celebrate the space that unites us nationally and internationally. It’s a privilege to be a part of INPUT.” 

As the vice president of Marketing and Communications at ITVS, Lisa Tawil leads the brand, distribution, and marketing for ITVS co-productions and the Emmy-award winning PBS series, Independent Lens. She joined ITVS in 2013 and has 15 years of entertainment experience, having led record-breaking consumer campaigns for National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, and PBS. 

Lisa Tawil judges for top industry awards, including the Creative Arts Emmys, News & Documentary Emmys, Promax, and the Webbys. She is a member of the Television Academy, Women in Film, Promax, and NAMIC. She currently holds the chair of vice president on the board for Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT) in Northern California.

At INPUT she joins president Judy Tam (USA) and board members Els Roovers (Belgium), Jessie Shih (Taiwan), Jouko Salokorpi (Finland), Mario Deschamps (Canada), Peter Wey (Switzerland), Stefano Semeria (Switzerland), and Susanne Hoffmann (Germany).
