When Ethan recognizes aggressive medical interventions are keeping him alive well beyond his prognosis, his family and doctor help him focus on living and prepare for death. In what is a clearly transformational time concerning death with dignity in America, this story examines self-determination and the unexpected power of imagination in navigating the end of life.
