    The Film

From 1965 to 1973, “Jane” was a Chicago-based feminist collective which consisted of approximately 120 women who counseled, assisted in, and ultimately performed 12,000 safe, but illegal abortions. Speaking publicly for the first time, members of the anonymous underground collective, and women who were served at "Jane," share their experiences.
