Len, Teardrop, and Bang are three Vietnamese refugees in New York City during the late ‘80s who navigate different and, at times, dangerous paths in their quest for belonging.

Sally Tran

Director/ Producer

Sally Tran is a NYC-based writer and director by way of Vietnam and New Zealand. Her shorts include Grandma Four Color Cards (SXSW 2025)and Don’t (TIFF 2024). She’s in post-production for Tình Tiền Tội : Love Money Sin, a 2024 recipient of the Women of Color Grant from NALIP, funded by Netflix, and set to begin production in early 2025.
