The Film
Music meets the streets of East Harlem at the Harbor Conservatory where Latin rhythms create a lifeline for kids. Mi Mambo! goes inside the Conservatory, exploring how it captures and feeds on the musical energies of the street. Students perform son, mambo, and salsa along side professionals, demonstrating why this music deserves the same respect as classical and jazz.
