The Film
Does culture and nationality impact gender identity and sexual orientation? How can people reconcile a profound love for their culture with drastic societal prohibitions that do not recognize the nuances of who they are? Can LGBTQ rights be divorced from politics or treated in isolation from other human rights? These are some of the questions that are explored in Outside/In, a short documentary.
