    The Film

Precious Cargo follows adoptees from Vietnam in search of their history and culture in their homeland, visiting orphanages and maternity hospitals and revisiting the history of Operation Baby Lift. The documentary also features interviews with the pilot of the first flight and the pioneering adoptive parents of the 1970s who began a movement that has redefined the American family by embracing mixed race and handicapped children as their own.
