Fatiha, a Moroccan woman, and her American friend Jessica head off on a journey through Morocco with provocative questions about sexuality, virginity, and Islam. Fatiha is to be married off soon, but the arrangement — which began with a controversial kiss on the hand and was supposed to conclude at Fatiha's wedding — careens off track. To complicate matters, Fatiha is overcome by the sudden possibility of real love.
