Jamil McGinnis

Director

Jamil McGinnis, director, is an artist and filmmaker raised in between Türkiye, Germany, and the U.S. His work explores memory and the ephemerality of home by bridging the language in between scripted and impressionistic documentary work. His work screened at MoMA PS1, Locarno, Telluride, Cannes Director’s Fortnight, RISD, and more.

Resita Cox is an Emmy Award-winning documentary film director/producer. Raised in the South, her films center Southern, Black communities and are observational and impact driven. She holds an MFA from Northwestern University and was recently named an Esteemed Artist by the City of Chicago and a 2024 Rockwood Documentary Leaders Fellow.
