The Film

Collected and highly valued throughout the world, Navajo rugs have been the subject of many aesthetic, scholarly, and popular studies. Weaving Worlds tells the story of Navajo rug weavers and their role within the global market economy. Through interviews and oral histories, the film gives an intimate look at current dilemmas facing Navajo weavers as well as the relationship between weaving and family relations.
