Last week, we announced the site launch for the second season of FUTURESTATES, which premieres next month at the SXSW Film Festival. Now, we turn our filmmaker profile to the Bay Area cult favorite, Barry Jenkins. The filmmaker’s short, Remigration, studies a futuristic San Francisco that is entirely upper-class and it’s attempt to bring working-class families back to the city.
