Wisconsin Ojibwa, Hispanic New Mexicans, California fishermen and longshoremen, Chinese immigrants in New York, striking workers in the Midwest, and the deaf in Seattle speak with wit, fervor, and anger about rights lost and reclaimed, cultures under assault, and building community.
