Recent waves of Southeast Asian and Latino immigrants are changing the complexion of many small towns in the Midwest. New Faces on Main Street investigates the status of these newcomers — their struggle to hold onto their traditions while contributing to their adopted communities. Using Northeastern Wisconsin as a microcosm for middle America, this documentary also addresses the negative perceptions of established residents who may not be entirely comfortable with a heterogeneous American heartland.
