In Spice Road, a food and travel series exploring South Asian cuisine, culture, and community, host/co-creator Rupak Ginn travels across America to uncover the stories behind the food. Along the way, he meets the immigrants who have built restaurants as diverse and dynamic as South Asia itself. From street food to fine dining, Rupak samples dishes from across the subcontinent while engaging in heartfelt, often surprising conversations with chefs and celebrity friends.

Season one is a personal journey—tracing Rupak’s own roots through eateries like Punjabi Dhaba in Bakersfield, Mejwaani in New Jersey, Taaza in Virginia, Bhanu in Los Angeles, and home cooking in New York, where food becomes a lens into family, culture, and belonging. Along the way, Rupak is joined by guests including Nik Dodani, Sheetal Sheth, Nancy Redd, and Kiran Deol.
