Science is progressing at an exponential rate and we've begun to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into our lives, but are we programming them to be racist, sexist, bigoted jerks? We will examine this question through a presentation of current research about the evolution of AI technology, the intersection of science, race, and gender equity, interviews with experts, and a behind-the-scenes look at how AI robots are programmed, built, and integrated into human society.
