With Time follows a group of trans people in a five-day storytelling workshop. The sessions begin with a personal exercise as each of the participants, aged fifty and older, selects a photograph integral to their past. They embark on group discussions, exploring the complexities of memory, identity, and self-expression. Participants draw from their understanding of gender and queerness in these moments and script original scenes. Together, they create an archive that honors the past while envisioning a dynamic future for trans communities. Their work is directed collaboratively and presented on the final workshop day.

Blending realism and fantasy, With Time centers on the interplay between lived experience and artistic representation in a visual narrative. From casting to production design, the creative process is depicted in behind-the-scenes footage of rehearsal, performance, and candid reflection. Alongside the members of the workshop, the filmmakers also confront anxieties about their future within the political climate, while finding models of resilience in the participants. The film displays the power of artistic creation in forging connections, fostering recognition, and imagining new possibilities for trans lives.
